I want your opinion!

I really want to hear what you think!

As you know I have been blogging a bit
more about my life & family
and what we are up to.

The question is do you want me to carry on doing that here?
Or would you prefer I just kept this blog being about Crochet?

Things are changing at the moment
and exciting things are going to start happening.

I'm in a bit of dilemma.
I love having the one blog
and sharing everything with you.
But I don't want to push you
away by blogging about other things as well as crochet.

So I am leaving the choice up to you!

What do you think?????

  1. You can either change your blog's name to something that includes other things also, create another blog where you talk of other things, say "stuff it, it's my blog and I'll talk about everything",(up to you)
Loads of people love crochet, and loads of people love crochet and other things.
    Do what YOU love....

    1. I will still be doing both. I just don't know whether I should keep them on the same blog or create a separate one. I'm putting the question out there because I don't want to upset my followers. I want you my followers to help make the decision. I wouldn't be where I am without you.

  2. Do whatever your heart tells you...your family IS important likewise your Passion....so the decision shouldn't be difficult... no one can judge you!

  4. I have many interests. When I started, I tried to put everything into Craftybegonia and I was too fragmented and it didn't fly, I divided things, one blog for each topic and things took off, because as I discovered later, I was addressing different segments of the online populations. Professionals call it segmentation, and it is a reality out there. You might not have the time nor the energy to run several blogs (I don't either, I stagger my posts)but that is a reality to consider. How much percentage of one topic to keep and how much of the next topic to add? Test before you leap. This is not to say it might not work for you, but it didn't work for me. It owrked when I separated topics and each audience was able to gravitate to their area of interest. Wish you the best!

    1. Thanks ever so much. I'm going to try and blog everything here to see how it goes. I have to work everything around my health and am hoping people will enjoy what I post. I am giving myself till after Christmas and then I will review it again. If it needs to be split I'll have another look then. Thanks for your advice!

  5. Hi Susan! When I began my blog, the main theme was sewing. Eventually I decided to add other projects and I was seeing who left me comments and on what topics. Finally I told myself I could do a little of everything and create tabs on the blog ( ...my audience grew), I'm adding projects quietly, and started doing crochet and knittingprojects, I also creatde another tab with the theme crafts. I speak very little about me and it is rare that I add personal photos, but it happens every so often. Do not know if your question answered. If you want to visit my blog this is the link:

    Have a nice day.
