Baby Pram Blanket Free Crochet Pattern


Baby Pram Blanket


The pattern is in US terms
Items required 
5mm (H) hook
Chunky yarn (any colour)
Stitch marker
Wool needle

Guidelines
At the end of each round just carry on, do not join with a slip stitch.
Mark the start of each round and then move marker as a round is completed.
HK – hook CH – chain SS – Slip Stitch SK - Skip
SC – Single Crochet DC – Double Crochet
Gauge
Doesn’t matter but mine was  approx. 2” = 8 sts x 4 rows
Approx. Sizing guide:
Length – 77.5cm (30 ½” ) Width – 58cm (23”)

I used 4 x 100g balls of yarn for this blanket

Blanket
Using 5mm (H) hook and yarn.
Ch 133
Row 1) 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sk 2 chs, (sc, ch 1, dc) in next ch, * sk 2 chs, (sc, ch 1, dc) in the next ch* across x 42, sk 2 ch’s, sc, ch 2, turn
Row 2) 1 dc, in next ch 1 space (sc, ch 1, dc) x 43, dc in last sc, ch 1, turn
Row 3) 1 sc, in ch1, space (sc, ch 1, dc) x 43, sc in last dc, ch 2, turn
Repeat row 2 & 3 – Row 56, finish
                                                                                                                                                         

Join the colour you are using for the edging

Round 1) sc around putting 3 sc in each corner (do not put sc around the top edge)
Round 2) ch 2, turn, 2 hdc in each sc around the 3 sides
Round 3) Ch 2, turn, 1 hdc in each hdc around the 3 sides, finish
