What You Doing Wednesday Week 87

I hope your week is going.
I hope if you were celebrating Thanksgiving
last week you had a good time!

I'm loving the weather at the moment
- well when I'm inside.
It's pretty dull and cool here at the moment.
There has been rain - as usual.
it does make it lovely to curl up on the couch and crochet :-)

I'm doing well on my blanket.
I'm hoping to get more done on it this week.

I can't wait to see what it looks like with the border on.
I'm planning on lots of X's and ribbon :-)

I'm also working on a scarf
I am making it using Orient Yarn
Orient Yarn
I'm loving the yarn.
It has metallic running through it so it catches the light beautifully.
The best thing is they deliver worldwide
& the yarn is on sale at the moment.

I'm afraid I haven't been up to much reading.
I'm hoping to spend a bit more time
this next week.
Hubby isn't going to be working as much
so hopefully I'll get a bit more time to relax.

Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.

  1. Looks like I'm the first to comment, not the first to link up though. It's been way to long since I've gotten to play with you all on Wed, really looking forward to catching up with everyone. LOVE the color of the blanket, looks awesome.

  2. Hi Susan! I really like the way that you're making your blanket, I also like your scarf. I took the opportunity to thank you for doing this giveaway, I discovered a new etsy boutique that has beautiful patterns! I added my newest project a tutorial showing how to do a postcard for Christmas.

  5. That yarn is really pretty! I can imagine you are going to do some nice things with it :)
Does the metallic running through it make it scratchy at all? If no then I might like some myself :D

    1. I love it, it's so pretty and the colours are fantastic! i just hope I can do the yarn justice. It doesn't make it scratchy. It's not a super soft yarn but the metal doesn't affect the feeling of it at all!
