Modern Primitive Embroidery ~ Book Review

Modern Primitive Embroidery
by Jennie Baer
Available in eBook & Book format from LeisureArts.com

The first thing I would like to say about this book
is it is anything but primitive.

Jennie has brought together 12 different designs
to make some beautiful items.
The projects use simple embroidery techniques
to make that something special.

The patterns are given in 3 different sizes so you
don't have to mess about enlarging or making them smaller.

Jennie talks you through the whole process
so even a beginner can make these fantastic projects.

You are talked through everything from how to transfer a simple line drawing onto fabric,
then use basic stitches and easy embellishments to finish textile.

You can use the designs to decorate everything from pictures
to soft furnishings to tea towels & clothing.

You can even use parts of the pattern to decorate
and piece of cloth.

With so many designs and so much of the year
covered you are able to make things that will last.

So many of the designs just make you smile.
They would be perfect as gifts for family and friends
as well as to decorate your own house.

If you've ever wanted to try embroidery then
this is an ideal book.
If you can already embroider I am sure
you will love the designs in this book.
