Loom Knitting for Mommy & Me ~ Book Review

Loom Knitting for Mommy & Me ~ Book Review

Loom Knitting for Mommy & Me
by Kathy Norris
available in eBook and Book format from LeisureArts.com

The thing I love about this book is that it covers everyone.
There are patterns for you, children & babies.
They make fantastic gifts.

10 designs for Beginner to Intermediate skill levels, using light or medium weight yarns.
The designs are fun and interesting and can be made
in many different colours to give them your own unique look.

I love the fact that not all the patterns are hats and scarfs.
Sometimes loom knitting books forget that
you can make loads of different things on a loom.

Loom Knitting is such a fantastic medium as people
of different ages and abilities can have a go.
My son who is only 7 has already made his own
hat on a knitting loom.

The patterns include:
Anklets, Slouch Beanie, Cowl, Hooded Scarf, Sock Monkey Pillow,
Elf Hat, Baby Jacket, Fingerless Mitts, and Baby Socks (Striped and Ruffled styles)

Diagrams are included and an easy number system
helps you on the more complicated patterns.
The written instructions are easy to read and follow.

And if you are still unsure LeisureArts.com
also supply online technical videos to help.

If you would like to learn to loom knit
and you want a book with numerous
patterns that are suitable for different ages
then this book is a really good buy.
