Monday Morning :-) free pattern

Simple Flower

Good Morning everyone

Little Red is all better (still has to stay off school today :-( )
It looks like he had a kidney infection but it cleared up pretty quick
He is fully fighting fit today

Although my CFS is still in this big crash.
Fatigue and pain is still as bad.
The pain is worst in my left leg and if I walk anywhere it just gets worse.
I'm seeing the doctor on Thursday so might ask for a walking stick to see
if that will help.  I think if I do get one I might yarn bomb it :-)

Anyway back to what I was saying, although it's still bad my
brain seems to be getting a little better.
Yesterday I made something, in-fact I finished 2 projects.
One I am not going to show you till FO Friday
but the other one I want to show you today :-)
My son had collected a load of sticks the other day when he was at grannies.
I decided I would set them up in a vase and brighten them up a bit.
The picture isn't great I know but I hope you get the idea.
I altered my original flower pattern to make these:

US crochet terms
Green 8ply DK yarn
5mm/H hook
White 8ply DK yarn
3.5mm/E hook

With Green yarn and 5mm/H hook
Ch 2
Round 1)  5sc in 2nd chain from hook ss to join
Round 2) Ch 3, Dc in same stitch, Ch 3, ss in same stitch
*ss in nect stitch, ch 3, dc in same stitch, ch 3, ss in same stitch* x 4, finish

Repeat with 3.5mm/E hook and white yarn.
Attach white flower to the front of the green flower (or your choices of colour)

sorry the pictures aren't fantastic.
Once we have sorted out our spare room hubby has said he will set-up a photographic area
for me so I'll be able to take better pictures all the time.

The things I was waiting for have arrived :-)
I'll get them made up and then hopefully I'll get the giveaway posted up tomorrow!

I am also having an open question time.
I want to create a page about me and if there is anything you want answering on it just ask.
I realized I don't really talk a lot about specifics and there might be things you want to know.
You can either comment and ask me on here or
you can email me at:

Have a good day!

  4. Thanks, I just left a long end and wrapped them round the branches. I did this so I can change design and colour if I fancy.
