154 Crochet Wave Patterns ~ Book Review ~ Update

154 Crochet Wave Patterns
available in eBook and Book format from LeisureArts.com

As a crochet designer books like this are invaluable!
They inspire you create some amazing beautiful items.
You can either use them to help you create a design
or you can use them as they are and create beautiful Afghans etc.

Well I decided to use the book to make my son
a beautiful colourful Afghan.
I decided to make him a rainbow blanket.
After going through the book I decided upon

I decided to use a double knit acrylic yarn
and a 5mm hook.

I haven't finished the blanket yet but I just had to show you.

I'm loving it already.
It brightens up my day everytime I pick it up.

The pattern is in written format and really easy to follow.
It's so effective and I love the look.

I would highly recommend this book.
There are so many looks you can get from the book.
You will be amazed the amount of different looks you can get with
a wave pattern.

You could make the most amazing Afghans with this book.
You could use so many colour combinations to make the most amazing designs.

The designs are amazing. You can use them for  bedspreads, dishcloths, place-mats
-- whatever pleases you most.
There isn't anything you wouldn't be able to make with these fantastic designs.

I think the only problem you may have is choosing which one to make.
The variation in the stitches used and how they are used is amazing.

All the patterns are in written format and are easy to follow.
There are more simpler designs as well as more challenging designs.

They are really amazing and push the boundaries of what you think you can do with a wave.
Darla Sims has excelled herself with this book.
The patterns are brilliant!

I really love this book and can't wait to get started on some of the patterns.
I'm really struggling to pick which one as soo many of them are amazing.

With 154 patterns to choose from I'm sure you'll be the same.

I would highly recommend this book to different levels of crocheter.
There is something for everyone!

  1. Some of these are interesting enough that I just might have to try them. I like the ones that play with the pattern and stitches enough to keep me from getting bored with it while I'm making it :)
