Thunderbolt express is all about a magical train ride with Jango Jenkins
and his Dixieland Band, Oscar the magician,
Miss Trixie and her pug dog Napoleon.
This is about what happens when a pleasant journey goes all wrong.
The pug goes missing.
The bridge ahead is missing.
And the handle on the train brake is broken.
Only in Monkey World can the solution
to this pickle involve shedding all weight to attempt to fly the train!

The book is a fantastic imaginative story
with fantastic illustrations.
The story is short and each page only holds one or two sentences.
This works out really well as the pictures are so detailed
that kids will want to spend their time
checking out everything.

This will be one book that children
will bring out just to spend time trying to find
out everything that is going on in each picture.

Little Red enjoyed the story but he loved the pictures even more.

The story is a short but sweet one with a happy ending.
Kids who don't like suspense not like it
when they think the train is going to crash
into a swamp full of Crocodiles.
However they will love it when the train flies across the gap.

Overall I'd give this book 4 out of 5

I received a copy of the book to review.
However all opinions expressed are my own.
No monies were received for this post.
