Tooth Fairy Pouch Free Patttern

Tooth Fairy Pouch

My son is 5 years old and has his first wobbly tooth.
As I didn’t want to start fishing under his pillow in the middle of the night
I decided to make him a tooth pouch so the
Tooth fairy finds it easier ;-)

This is a Crochet Pattern in US Terms.
You will need the following:
Crochet Hook - size 5mm/H
White Yarn – DK/8ply
1 button
1 yarn needle (to sew envelope together and the button on)

Terms
CH – Chain
HK - Hook
SC – Single Crochet
HDC – Half double Crochet
DC – Double Crochet
SS – Slip stitch

Pattern
Ch 11
Row 1)  sc in 2nd ch from hk, 9 sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 2 – 17) 10 sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 18) 10 sc, ch 3, turn

Row 19) 3 dc, 1 hdc, 2 ss, 1 hdc, 3 dc, finish off.

Once you have fastened in the ends, fold the bottom
Over so that there are approx. 6 rows on the front piece:

Sew the sides.
Sew on a button.  I lined my button up with one
of the caps of a stitch.

You can then also personalise it how you like.

Yes I know my sewing and embroidery needs a lot
of work. I used my sons initials to personalise mine.
I hope you enjoy the pattern.

    2. Love this! I just made 2 pillows for my 5 and 6 year old granddaughters in 1 1/2 hours. I made a tooth applique and embroidered their first name initial under the button. Thank you for sharing this pattern.
