What You Doing Wednesday Week 120

Good Morning!

Wow where is the time going?

The big trees at the back have been removed.
It was fun sitting on Little Red's bed and watching everything.
One of the men went up on crampons and cut the pieces down
before taking each tree down in turn.

It's amazing the difference!!!
Even with the weather being horrible we don't have to have the lights
on all the time at the back of the house.
For the first time Hubby was able to make tea and not have to switch
the light on.
The Conservatory is lovely and warm in the afternoon.
So I think we'll be able to use the conservatory all year now.

My Halloween stuff took a slight back-step this week.
I decided to make a hat to match my green shawl.
Sorry no pictures till Friday.
Little Red then put a request in for a Stampy Cat Hat (from minecraft).
As the weather has turned horrible, cold and wet
I couldn't resist.

I have however started my skull:
The pattern is called

It should hopefully look something like this:

I have another quick make this week.
It's from the book Crocheted Cushions.
I'll be reviewing the book soon.
This is the first cushion I have ever made and I love it :-)

I haven't made much progress on the shawls.
They've taken a bit of a back burner whilst I get other things made & finished.

I'm listening to Blue Monday by Nicci French.
So far it's a really good read!
The story follows psychotherapist Frieda Klein
and her work with one of her patients
whilst a child has been snatched.
I have found the subject difficult at times with being a mum
but I suppose that shows just how good the writing is
that it can effect me that much.

Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
Please add the pin to your post & check out a couple
of other people that are sharing their work
