What You Doing Wednesday Week 132

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope your week is going well!
I hope you've all had a fantastic Christmas
and are looking forward to the New Year!

We has an amazing Christmas.
Little Red received a phone call from Santa on his sled.
We couldn't stop laughing.
He had baked some red velvet cup cakes for him
and he really wanted to tell him.
Of course it was a recording so everytime he said Santa,
Santa kept talking.

The red velvet cupcakes Little Red made for Santa and Rudolf.
They have butter-cream icing, cruncy bits and edible glitter.

Then Santa dropped his pj's down the chimney
so that he could get ready for bed
in lovely new pj's.

Christmas morning Little Red woke up at 6am
and rushed down with his stockings.
He then had 30 mins of fun getting everything out.
Daddy stretched it till 7am before we opened our presents.

Yes I know I bought too much ;-)
We've had such fun with all his stocking stuff
and we haven't finished making it yet.
He got everything from a Santa on a ladder
that comes all down by himself.
He got a magic tree which we are going to have
to get pictures for you.

Little Red didn't get many toys this year
as this year him and his dad wanted an xbox one.
Little Red got minecraft to play on it.
He spent all Sunday building a dragon
that breaths purple smoke.

These are just the presents from my hubby and son.
I am so blessed and lucky!
I'll show you some better pictures in the coming weeks.
I haven't had chance to go through everything yet.

Christmas day was spent with my parents and then
we rushed off to my brothers.
Santa brought his late delivery and I managed to get
a travel cluedo off him :-).

I have so much to show you.

I was sent some beautiful Sierra Andina yarn to review
I decided I was going to design a free hat pattern.
I had one in mind and then I watched the film;
A Christmas Kiss
There is a beautiful hat in the film.
I couldn't find any pattern similar so I decided
to design my own.
The colour 21 mélange burgundy
I thought was perfect.

I've actually finished the hat but you'll have to wait
till Friday to see the finished product :-).
Once hubby and son are back at work and school
I'll type up and release the free pattern for you.

I've also worked a lot more on the infinity scarf
I'm making.

I'm making it out of the beautiful Regina yarn from Adriafil.
It's 100% Merino Wool.
The design started off differently.
I tried a number of designs but once I saw the effect
of the cross stitch with the yarn
I knew that it would be perfect.
This will also be another free pattern I'll be releasing for you.
I'll probably release one a week.

I've not been reading much as we've been seeing all our family.
I'll hopefully have the details of some books
either this Friday or next week.

I also forgot to say that hopefully my pictures will be getting better.
I got a portable Photo Studio Kit.
I need to spend sometime messing with it
trying to find the best way to take pictures
but it should make a big difference to the lighting etc.

Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
Please add the pin to your post & check out a couple
of other people that are sharing their work
