What You Doing Wednesday Week 150

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope your week is going well!

Sorry for this post being later than usual.
Monday was a bank holiday in the UK
and it has put me off kilter.

I didn't realise it was Wednesday until
I started reading the blogs I follow.

We had a fantastic weekend.
Little Red planted his veg and salad plants
in the pots around his play area.
I'll take some pictures for Friday.
I bought some copper tape to put around them
so they will hopefully not all be eaten by the slugs
and snails.
I managed to cut my hands open about 6 times
but it will be worth it if Little Red gets to eat
the veg he has grown.

Now onto what I am making this week.
I've started designing a cowl to match
the hat I made last week;

I also started trying to finish a number
of my projects.
I hate having loads of projects unfinished.

1st I worked on the shawl I started
months ago.

I also decided to work on my nemesis.
I started learning a craftsy course
for knitting in the round.
I have tried making the cowl about 6 times.
Each time I have learnt more and feel
a lot more confident.
Here is a sneak peek as I am ecstatic to say
I have finally finished it :-)

I hope that I'll have quite a few finished
by Friday - fingers crossed.

I also have some exciting news that
I am going to be telling you about soon!
One of my local towns is having a yarn bombing event.
It's going to be an event in the real sense of the word.

The lady who is running it is coming to meet me today.
I have donated loads of wool out of my stash
and may make something for the day.
There are loads of posts along the main street
so I have a couple of ideas to cover them.

I finished my book on Henry VIII
and have just started one on the Kings & Queens of England.
I didn't realise how little I know about them all.
There have been a lot but it's really interesting
finding out about them.

Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
Please add the pin to your post & check out a couple
of other people that are sharing their work
