I hope you are all having a good week.
Autumn has arrived early in the North West of England.
We've had cool temperatures, wind and rain.
It isn't all bad.
The plants are loving the rain, Little Red has rain levels
to check on his weather station everyday.
This week was special for me and my husband.
It was our 10th wedding anniversary :-)
It's amazing how time fly's!
I bought him a curry spice tin and a grow in a tin chilli plant.
He bought me a fantastic frosties tin that is the perfect size
for hooks etc an 3 different tins with beautifully scented candles in them.
My mum and dad were married on the same date and they
popped round with a beautiful tin full of tasty biscuits.
I'll hopefully get some pictures for next week.
Hubby is off today so he is taking Little Red to the cinema.
I love Little Red to mintballs but I really can't wait for the peace.
4 weeks of him waffling about minecraft, stampy cat and ballistic squid
means I really need some peace.
It will also be nice to watch some tv that I like.
Little Red has started watching the Harry Potter films this week.
Previously the music has scared him out of watching it.
He loves films like transformers etc. as it doesn't have really scary music.
I'm amazed by how much he is affected by music in films.
Anyway this meant there is a theme to this weeks makes.
The owl is from a free crochet pattern by Bowtkes
The pattern is called Hoots the Owl
I made some changes to the colouring and I also put
black V stitches on the wings to look like Hedwig.
The Golden Snitch is also a free crochet pattern from
Both patterns were really easy to follow!
Then of course he wanted the scarf
I found another fantastic free pattern
from The Kansas Hooker
I didn't do the rows exactly as per the pattern
because I didn't want it quite as long.
As it was a couple of days later I managed to win
a 2nd hand outfit
I haven't managed to finish any of my books this week.
I've been very naughty and playing on computer games.
